Overview State Transport LLC is a trucking company based in the Grimes/Urbandale area of Iowa. Company Bio Founded over ten years ago, State Transport LLC provides commercial shipping and logistical services across the Midwest. The company operates a fleet of transport general freight managed by professional drivers, specializing in hauling variable freight sizes and offering adaptable heavy-hauling solutions. Home weekly. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial trucks across over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring timely delivery of freight. Navigate using GPS systems to follow optimized routes while complying with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) guidelines. Transport various types of freight including Dry-Van Loads. Ensure proper documentation for each shipment. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking for compliance with FMCSA regulations and truck loading/unloading procedures. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route adjustments, or any issues encountered during transit. Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and proven experience in commercial truck driving. 2 Year minimum requirement. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules. Strong commitment to safety standards and compliance with all trucking regulations while maintaining excellent customer service during deliveries. Additional Pay 5,000$ sign on Bonus (paid over 12 months) Safety and Performance bonus every 90 days.
