Hopper Bottom Truck Driver (Home Nightly) Quality Plus Feeds Inc. St.
Paul, IA Facility Description:
Quality Plus Feeds Inc is a feed mill and grain facility located in St. Paul, Iowa with approximately 60 full-time and part-time team members. We are a customer service company serving the Tri-State area farmers and businesses. Our goal is to improve the farmer's profitability through quality, consistency, and education and do so as a certified Safe Feed/Safe Food facility. Our team strives to make a difference for our customers and the communities we serve.Job Summary:
We are currently seeking individuals who would like the opportunity to join our Ag Team in our transportation department hauling commodities and grain from farm to market. We have 1 full-time position open.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Local daily trips
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections and document via Samsara
- Comply with QPF SOP (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Report truck maintenance issues immediately
- Comply with DOT rules and regulations
- Ensure the interior and exterior of the truck remains clean (as conditions allow)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Class A CDL
- Registered on the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Ability to operate a manual hopper bottom
- Attention to detail is critical
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to climb
