Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Repossession Agent, where you will play a vital role in recovering vehicles and assets while ensuring safety, professionalism, and customer service excellence. This energetic position requires proactive engagement, mechanical aptitude, and strong conflict management skills to locate, secure, and transport vehicles efficiently. You will be responsible for executing repossession operations with integrity, adhering to legal and safety protocols, and maintaining positive interactions with clients and vehicle owners. Duties Conduct vehicle recoveries using tow trucks, flatbed trucks, or other specialized equipment while following cargo securement protocols Perform automotive diagnostics and basic automotive repair to assess vehicle condition prior to recovery or transport Operate commercial vehicles safely, including trucks with manual transmissions and forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading Manage conflict situations professionally by employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate tensions with vehicle owners or bystanders Load and unload recovered vehicles carefully, ensuring adherence to safety standards and proper vehicle mechanics for truck drivers Secure vehicles on flatbeds or tow trucks following industry best practices to prevent damage during transit Maintain detailed logs of recovery activities, vehicle conditions, and client interactions for compliance and reporting purposes Qualifications Proven experience in automotive diagnostics, automotive repair, or vehicle mechanics for truck drivers is highly desirable Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating tow trucks and flatbeds preferred Mechanical knowledge of vehicle mechanics, especially pertaining to trucks and cargo securement protocols Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely when required Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients, vehicle owners, and team members Physical ability to load & unload vehicles repeatedly while following safety procedures Join us in a fast-paced environment where your mechanical expertise and proactive approach make a real difference! Pay:
$72,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
