Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Class B Tandem Axle Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will operate a tandem axle dump truck to transport and deliver materials efficiently across various job sites. Your expertise will ensure safe, timely, and compliant deliveries while adhering to all federal and state regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction, landscaping, or material hauling projects with a focus on safety, precision, and professionalism. Responsibilities Safely operate a Class B tandem axle dump truck on local deliveries, and construction sites Load and unload materials such as gravel, dirt, asphalt, or other bulk cargo using manual handling techniques and truck loading equipment Follow GPS navigation and route planning to ensure timely deliveries while optimizing fuel efficiency and route accuracy Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and other safety standards during all operations Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in accordance with regulatory requirements Conduct routine inspections of the truck before and after trips, reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly Skills Proven experience driving commercial trucks, specifically tractor-trailers or dump trucks with manual transmission Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route driving and delivery planning Ability to manually handle heavy loads safely in compliance with safety protocols Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, hazard communication standards for dangerous goods, and DOT compliance requirements Experience in freight transportation, delivery driving, or logistics cargo handling within regulated environments Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; familiarity with over-the-road (OTR) routes is preferred Join our team if you're passionate about delivering quality service safely and efficiently!
