We are looking for dedicated Intermodal Truck Drivers (W2) for full-time positions to transport freight via containers between rail yards, ports, and customer locations. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe deliveries, adhering to all relevant transportation regulations, and maintaining the vehicle in good condition.
Key Responsibilities:
Transport intermodal containers between rail yards, ports, and customer locations. Ensure timely pick-up and delivery of loads while following pre-planned routes. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards. Secure and handle freight efficiently, ensuring proper load distribution and safety. Maintain accurate records of cargo, delivery logs, and vehicle performance. Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS) regulations. Qualifications:
Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) Class A with endorsements for intermodal freight preferred. Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with intermodal/container operations. Clean driving record with a history of safe driving. Knowledge of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and FMCSA requirements. Ability to operate a GPS, electronic logs (ELDs), and other relevant tools. Excellent time-management and organizational skills. 5+ years of CDL driving experience.
