•-- Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CDL A Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks, including tanker and flatbed vehicles, in compliance with DOT regulations. This role requires a self-starter with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in all weather conditions. The position offers flexibility for part-time or seasonal work for the right individual.

•-- Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions, including tanker and flatbed vehicles, adhering to all DOT regulations. Transport goods efficiently and securely over designated routes, ensuring timely delivery. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo as needed, demonstrating physical activity and attention to detail. Maintain accurate records of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance reports. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate deliveries. Work in all weather conditions, demonstrating flexibility and reliability during long hours, weekends, or seasonal peaks. Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure personal safety and that of others on the road.

•-- Requirements Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record. Minimum of two years of verifiable commercial truck driving experience. Experience operating tanker and flatbed trucks preferred. Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles; automatic transmission experience is acceptable but must be willing to operate manual if required. Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial trucking. Must be honest, reliable, and a team player who is also a people person. Willingness to work long hours in all weather conditions, including weekends and peak seasons. Must reside close to the shop location for easy access to work sites. Capable of performing physical activities associated with loading/unloading cargo. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Open to part-time or seasonal employment if needed; willing to work on benefits for the right candidate.
