Gurtler Industries is hiring an experienced CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Driver to transport and deliver commercial laundry chemicals to our customers. This is a local/regional, daily driving position with excellent overtime potential, steady year-round work, and the stability of a family-owned company that has been in business for more than 40 years.

Starting pay: $30.00/hour
Overtime:

WHAT YOU'LL DO
You'll transport commercial laundry chemicals to Gurtler customers using tanker and van equipment .
Your responsibilities will include:
Safely transport hazardous chemical products to customer locations Load and unload materials Safely operate tanker and related delivery equipment Provide professional, dependable service at customer locations Perform required vehicle and equipment inspections Ensure trucks and equipment meet applicable DOT requirements Follow DOT Hazmat requirements for transportation, labeling, placarding, and safe material handling Maintain a strong focus on safety throughout every delivery
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
This position requires an experienced, safety-conscious professional driver.
Required:
Valid Class A CDL Hazmat endorsement Tanker endorsement Current TWIC Card 3+ years of verifiable tanker driving experience Clean driving record Working knowledge of DOT Hazmat regulations and safe transportation practices Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred:
Chemical or Hazmat tanker delivery experience Experience operating pallet jacks and forklifts High school diploma or equivalent
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Drivers must be able to: Regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds Move materials weighing up to 2,500 pounds using a pallet jack Frequently stand, walk, climb, stoop, reach, load, and unload throughout the workday
