Liberal Arts & Science Description The Life Science Department of South Suburban College is seeking a person to teach biology as an adjunct/ part-time faculty position. The course topics cover the second semester of Majors Biology (Ecology, Biodiversity and Genetics) Examples of Duties Teach Majors Biology to undergraduate students in a community college learning environment. Minimum Qualifications Masters in Biology or related field Previous teaching experience Knowledge of educational standards and regulations Proficiency with modern technology

Supplemental Information Preferred Requirements:

Teaching experience with biology majors students. At least three to five (3-5) years' experience in teaching on a college level. Excellent technology and classroom management skills.

STATUS/SALARY

This is a regular adjunct faculty position with salary to be determined by the adjunct faculty union contract.
