What You Will Do:
As a Local CDL A Driver, you will handle daily regional runs transporting loads, chassis, flatbeds, or aggregate materials across the Greater Chicago Area. Your daily routine will include conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety, keeping accurate digital delivery logs in strict compliance with DOT Hours of Service, and collaborating closely with our dispatchers for a smooth, efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
Valid Class A CDL and a clean, safe driving record. Valid DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate) Solid understanding of DOT Hours of Service regulations and safety laws. Proven experience in intermodal drayage, flatbed hauling, or aggregate/dump transport. Strong communication skills to coordinate with dispatch and flexibility to adapt to changing logistical demands.
