Responsibilities:

Safely operates a variety of delivery trucks to include: flat bed, box and boom trucks while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies Loads and unloads lumber & building materials from trucks Provides excellent customer service Operates forklift Communicate effectively with management and customers regarding delivery status. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and reliability. Keeps lumber yard and vehicles clean, well-organized and safe. Assists in various warehouse yard operations.

Requirements:

Valid CDL Safe driving record (MVR) Boom or crane certification not required but is highly preferred! Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds Familiar with building materials including lumber species a plus Previous experience in a lumber yard a plus Ability to work independently and as a team Detailed oriented Ability to work outdoors Must take and pass a drug test and pre-employment fit for duty acknowledgement Must consent to a criminal background check & safety employment verification as required by
