Woody Bogler Trucking is seeking a Local CDL A Truck Driver to join our Transportation & Logistics team. In this home-daily role, you'll safely operate late-model equipment, handle regional dry van routes, and ensure on-time, damage-free deliveries. Responsibilities Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on local routes transporting freight for Woody Bogler Trucking Perform pre-trip, in-transit, and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT and company safety standards Haul end dump, dry van, and flatbed loads as assigned, following all loading and unloading procedures Properly secure cargo using chains, straps, tarps, and other equipment to protect freight and ensure legal transport Maintain accurate and timely electronic logs (ELDs), trip reports, and required delivery documentation Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and FMCSA regulations at all times Communicate proactively and professionally with dispatch, customers, and terminal staff regarding ETAs, delays, and load status Follow company policies and safety protocols, including participation in safety meetings and ongoing training Represent Woody Bogler Trucking in a professional manner with customers and the public, supporting a strong service reputation Report equipment issues promptly and coordinate with maintenance to keep equipment in safe operating condition Required Skills CDL Class A driving Safe operation of tractor-trailers End dump operations Dry van operations Flatbed securing and tarping DOT and FMCSA compliance Electronic logging devices (ELD) use Trip planning and routing Basic truck inspection and maintenance Cargo securement Time management Defensive driving Reading bills of lading and shipping documents Communication with dispatch Local route navigation
