This is not negotiable. Must be self starter. Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate various types of trucks including tankers, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Responsibilities Safely operate and navigate various types of trucks including tanker, flatbed, roll-off truck, dump truck, and refrigerated trailer. Load and unload freight as required, ensuring proper handling of materials. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and deliveries made. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Follow all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to truck driving. Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of customer service. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for tanker, flatbed, or other relevant vehicles. Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of load unloading procedures. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety regulations in the transportation industry. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the road. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently. Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
