Logistics Manager Drive for a Company That Values Quality, People, and Doing Things the Right Way Quality Structures LLC is looking to hire Class A CDL Drivers to safely transport building materials and company equipment to jobsites. This is a hands-on driving position for someone who takes pride in their work, puts safety first, and is comfortable getting out of the truck to help load, secure, and unload materials. Quality Structures specializes in post-frame construction and has built its reputation around quality craftsmanship, customer service, and long-term relationships. What You'll Do Safely transport building materials and company equipment to and from jobsites and other designated locations. Operate company trucks, trailers, and related equipment in accordance with DOT requirements and company procedures. Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Monitor truck and equipment conditions, including tires, lights, brakes, fluids, and other safety-related components. Report mechanical problems or equipment concerns to the Logistics Manager. Load and unload building materials and equipment at the yard and jobsites. Properly strap, brace, pad, and secure materials to prevent shifting or damage during transportation. Move materials within the yard or jobsite using a yard truck, forklift, or other appropriate equipment. Load, transport, and unload Quality Structures equipment and complete required documentation. Take photographs of deliveries and pickups and upload them through company software. Use phone- and tablet-based applications as part of daily operations. Maintain vehicle logs, cargo records, and other required transportation documentation. Follow traffic laws, DOT requirements, jobsite instructions, and company safety procedures. Communicate delays, accidents, equipment issues, or other transportation concerns to the Logistics Manager. Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and coworkers. Assist with other duties as needed. What We're Looking For Valid Class A CDL with Air Brake Endorsement required High school diploma or equivalent Safe and dependable driving habits Ability to safely operate trucks, trailers, and related equipment Willingness and ability to load and unload building materials Ability to repeatedly lift and handle construction materials Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Good communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities throughout the day Comfortable using a smartphone, tablet, and company applications Knowledge of building materials and the construction process Previous driving, construction, material handling, or related experience is beneficial Ability to obtain forklift certification within 90 days of employment Willingness to complete some overnight travel as required Compensation & Benefits $21-$23 per hour Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Company-paid life insurance 401(k) with company match On-the-job training Benefit eligibility and additional plan details will be discussed during the hiring process. Physical Requirements This is an active, hands-on driving position.
