Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver/Laborer to join our dynamic team. This energetic role combines the responsibilities of safe, efficient delivery driving with hands-on labor tasks within warehouse operations. As a key member of our logistics and distribution team, you will be responsible for transporting goods, assisting with loading and unloading, and supporting warehouse functions to ensure smooth and timely operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your driving skills while engaging in physically active work that keeps the momentum going every day. Responsibilities Safely operate various vehicles including box trucks, vans, and personal vehicles for delivery routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load and unload materials using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices. Assist in warehouse operations such as moving inventory, organizing stock, and managing manual handling equipment to support overall efficiency. Deliver goods directly to customers' locations or designated sites, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while providing excellent customer service. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance with all DOT regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries using mobile devices or other digital tools, including route details, delivery confirmations, and any incidents. Support team efforts by participating in warehouse tasks such as moving heavy items, stacking pallets, and preparing shipments for dispatch. Qualifications Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred. Proven delivery driver experience with a focus on safe driving practices in commercial settings. Experience operating box trucks, vans, or commercial trucks with manual transmissions is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely; knowledge of safe lifting practices is a plus. Strong understanding of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and weight handling in the workplace. Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation, record keeping, and communication. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude during deliveries. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type being operated; clean driving record required.
