Duties Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other specialized equipment, to recover and transport vehicles Perform vehicle loading and unloading with precision, adhering to cargo securement protocols to prevent damage or accidents Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs to facilitate smooth recovery operations Utilize automotive diagnostics and repair knowledge to assess vehicle conditions during recovery or service calls Follow all safety procedures for vehicle recovery towing, ensuring safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks and adherence to industry standards Manage customer interactions professionally, providing clear communication and resolving conflicts effectively Maintain accurate documentation of all towing activities, including shift reports, incident logs, and vehicle details Skills Proven experience with automotive diagnostics, minor mechanical repairs, and basic troubleshooting of vehicles Strong commercial driving skills with a valid commercial truck driving license and experience operating flatbed tow trucks 1yr minimum Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle mechanics for truck drivers and car towing operations Expertise in cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks Excellent conflict management abilities coupled with outstanding customer service skills Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and vehicle recovery towing techniques Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while maintaining safety standards in all operations Join us as a Tow Operator if you're passionate about driving, mechanical work, and helping people get back on the road quickly!
