Job Description

This position is responsible for all deliveries and pickups of rental equipment for Portable Power from customer dock locations and other NOV depot locations. 1. Microsoft Knowledge
  • In order to keep up with email communications for deliveries and pickups. 2. Good communication skills
  • In order to provide good customer service and meet customer deadlines as well as keep operations informed of all equipment movement. 3. Operate Forklift & Overhead Crane
  • This is required to be able to ship and receive equipment. 4. Class A-CDL with Hazmat Endorsement
  • Required by law to deliver equipment for NOV.
1. Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned vehicle. 2. Pick-up and safely transport equipment to the intended location. 3. Ensure loads are properly secured to trailer. 4. Communicate with transportation coordinator as needed. 5. Confirm that the load matches the manifest document. 6. Perform pre-inspections before each trip, check weather conditions and road reports before departure. 7. Maintain, service and ensure vehicles are kept clean. 8. Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues occur. 9. Comply with all NOV US Driver Vehicle Policy and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. 10. Comply with NOV policies and use of ELD. 11. Keep all NOV vehicle inspections current and good standing. 12. Complete and turn in all paperwork in a timely manner. 13. Work Weekends, Non-Standard hours, Overnight Travel and Long-Distance Travel. 14. Class A-CDL with Hazmat Endorsement 15. Must Pass and Maintain a USDOT Medical Examination and Drug and Alcohol testing.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Perform all duties requested by the manager. 2. Operate overhead crane & forklift. 3. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
