Job Summary Join our team as a Roll-Off Dumpster Driver and become a vital part of our solid operation! In this energetic role, you'll operate specialized roll-off trucks to deliver, pick up, and service large waste containers at various commercial and municipal sites. Your expertise in safe driving, vehicle operation, and customer service will ensure efficient waste collection and disposal processes. If you're passionate about driving, safety, and providing excellent service, this is the perfect role for you! Responsibilities Safely operate roll-off dumpsters. Load, unload, and transport large dumpsters to designated locations while ensuring proper placement and securement of containers. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic mechanical checks to maintain optimal truck performance. Follow DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, state transportation laws. Must be able to follow instructions and Communicate effectively with customers to coordinate route schedules and address service needs promptly. Load and unload containers manually or with automated lifting mechanisms. Must be able to manage time efficiently. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by interacting professionally with clients during service calls. Experience Proven experience operating commercial trucks such as roll-off trucks, garbage trucks (front loader or rear loader), or similar heavy-duty vehicles. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations. Hands-on experience with manual transmissions and heavy lifting techniques required for container handling. Mechanical knowledge of truck systems is advantageous for routine inspections and minor repairs. Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions is preferred to ensure safety and efficiency on the job site.
