Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Coordinate deliveries and pickups with supervisor. Building loads for deliveries, verify accuracy of loaded products before and after delivery to jobsite. Loading / unloading materials Maintaining a safe load Adept with dealing with unexpected situations (traffic, weather, equipment failures, etc.) in a timely manner Perform daily vehicle inspections and reports and signs for any corrective action taken for repair while notifying supervisor of issues. Maintain cleanliness of all equipment used to meet DOT guidelines Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods, etc.) as well as company policies and procedures. Comply with all safety regulations within the company and jobsites, including but not limited to; wearing safety glasses, hardhats, vests, etc. when required. Notify supervisor immediately of accidents or violations. Fully understands and complies with DOT securement standards.

Qualifications:

Currently hold and maintain a valid Driver's License Ability to obtain and maintain DOT physical medical card No major violations or accidents on driving record (past 36 months) High School Diploma or GED Individuals need to sit, stand or walk as needed; must be able to lift over 50 pounds regularly using proper lifting techniques. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one-on-one.
