Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL A Driver to join our team in Littleton, MA. This position is responsible for safely completing customer deliveries and pickups, operating company vehicles, maintaining accurate delivery documentation, and providing professional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL A license , a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a professional and customer-focused attitude. ResponsibilitiesDeliveries & Pickups Safely operate company trucks and commercial vehicles. Complete scheduled customer deliveries and pickups accurately and on time. Safely back and position trucks at customer and warehouse locations. Review delivery schedules, invoices, load tags, Bills of Lading, and other required shipping documentation. Ensure trucks are properly loaded and all loads are safely secured before departure. Load and unload trucks as required. Operate a forklift to assist with loading and unloading when trained and authorized. Locate customer facilities and follow assigned delivery routes. Reconcile load tags with Bills of Lading and obtain customer signatures upon delivery. Complete pickups, deliveries, and inventory duties at additional warehouse locations as assigned. Communicate delivery status, arrival/departure times, delays, and schedule changes throughout the day. Maintain accurate daily vehicle logs, including locations, mileage, stops, and vehicle maintenance information. Customer Service Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers. Maintain a professional appearance and provide a high level of customer service. Communicate effectively with customers, warehouse personnel, and supervisors. Maintain company vehicles in clean and professional condition. Maintenance & Safety Perform routine vehicle inspections and check oil, tires, fuel, and general vehicle condition. Ensure company vehicles are maintained according to established maintenance schedules. Ensure all loads are properly secured and truck doors are closed before operating the vehicle. Operate vehicles safely and courteously while following all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Immediately report accidents, vehicle issues, safety concerns, or unusual delays. Assist with physical inventory counts as directed. Maintain clean and organized shipping and warehouse areas. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and operating guidelines. Maintain a valid CDL A license and all required driving credentials. Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) required. Safe driving record and demonstrated commitment to responsible vehicle operation. Experience operating and safely backing commercial trucks. Ability to load and unload freight as required. Forklift experience preferred. Ability to maintain accurate delivery, mileage, and vehicle documentation. Strong communication and customer service skills. Dependable, organized, and able to work independently. Ability to work Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM . Strong commitment to workplace and transportation safety.
