Store Manager / Dispatch Koopman Lumber is hiring an experienced CDL Truck Driver (Class A or Class B) to deliver building materials to residential and commercial jobsites. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role — not just driving from point A to point B. Drivers are expected to load, unload, handle returns, and work outdoors in all seasons. What You'll Do Safely operate Class A or Class B trucks to deliver lumber and building materials Load and unload your own truck using forklifts, Moffett, and manual labor as required Deliver to active jobsites and load returns from customer locations Secure loads properly and inspect materials for accuracy and condition Communicate with dispatch using mobile apps or tablets Complete required logs, inspections, and delivery paperwork Represent Koopman Lumber professionally with customers and jobsite personnel This role requires physical effort and problem-solving — it's not dock-to-dock driving. Requirements:
What We're Looking For Valid CDL Class A or Class B Hoisting License (H-1C preferred) Experience operating Moffett and forklifts strongly preferred Comfortable working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions Physically fit and capable of sustained, heavy work Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and customer service Comfortable using smartphones or tablets for routing and communication Physical Requirements Ability to frequently lift 80 lbs and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs independently Frequent bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, and material handling Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and DOT physical
