Job Description
Job Summary Stoneham Fuel is seeking a Full Time, Fuel Truck Driver for immediate start. We are looking to hire qualified candidates to join our Stoneham Fuel family owned and operated team, an established busy full-service oil company. Qualified candidates will be delivering home heating oil to residential homes and businesses within the area. Must have experience and keep a clean driving record. Additionally be available for standby rotation for evening/weekend emergency calls. Business is located in Stoneham, Ma. - Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while considering traffic conditions and road regulations.
- Load and unload oil safely using appropriate equipment.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered on the road. Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record is required.
- Applicants Certificates and Licenses
- CDL Class B License
- DOT Medical Card
- Obtain Hazmat, Tanker and Airbrake Endorsements
- Proven experience in truck driving or route driving is preferred.
- Familiarity with load unloading procedures and handling practices is essential.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines consistently.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

$28.00- $35.
