CDL Class A Driver Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Class A Driver to join our team. This role involves commercial truck driving with a focus on delivering goods safely and efficiently. The driver will operate trucks equipped for long-haul or local deliveries, ensuring timely transportation while adhering to all safety regulations. The position offers the opportunity to be home daily, providing a consistent schedule and top pay. Duties Operate commercial trucks with a valid CDL Class A license to transport freight to various destinations. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time, maintaining high standards of customer service. Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety regulations, including proper vehicle inspection and maintenance checks. Maintain logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and delivery documentation in compliance with DOT requirements. Manage loading and unloading procedures when necessary, ensuring cargo safety and security. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure safe transportation at all times. Skills Valid CDL Class A license with current TWIC card preferred. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, with a focus on safe and efficient operation. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial vehicles. Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining safety. Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues. Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers, clients, and team members. Dependability and professionalism in handling daily responsibilities.
