Full Job Description Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Roll-Off Driver / Laborer to join our team. This dual-role position combines professional driving with hands-on labor support for the installation and servicing of environmental waste handling equipment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and willing to work both behind the wheel and in the field alongside our installation crews.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving Duties Safely operate roll-off trucks and Stake Body Trucks to transport equipment, and materials to and from job sites, customer locations, and recycling facilities. Load, secure, and unload compactors, containers, and materials as required. Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations. Maintain accurate driving logs, delivery tickets, and required paperwork. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies.
Laborer / Installation
Support Duties Assist with the installation, assembly, and maintenance of environmental waste equipment, including trash compactors, balers, and dock lifts. Perform basic construction labor such as material handling, lifting, drilling, cutting, and fastening. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Support shop activities such as staging equipment, cleaning, and preparing tools and materials for jobs.
Qualifications:
Valid CDL with a clean driving record required. Previous roll-off truck driving experience preferred. General construction, mechanical, or labor experience strongly desired. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions. Strong safety awareness and commitment to following procedures. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
