Responsibilities Safely operating a tractor/trailer or other large vehicle for the transport of goods. Performing pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety. Adhering to all local, state, and federal vehicular regulations. Loading and unloading cargo, ensuring secure and on-time deliveries. Maintaining accurate logbooks of driving activities to comply with federal regulations. Communicating effectively with dispatchers and clients to update on progress and potential delays.
