Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver who lives in or around the Huntingtown/Dunkirk area to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge along with excellent customer service skills. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles and assisting customers in need, ensuring a high level of service and professionalism at all times. Must be able to pass a background check. Duties Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other types, to transport vehicles safely. Respond promptly to calls for assistance, providing timely service to customers. Assess vehicle conditions and determine the best towing method based on the situation. Load and unload vehicles with care, ensuring no damage occurs during the process. Maintain accurate records of services performed and any relevant customer interactions. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving conflicts effectively. Perform routine maintenance checks on towing equipment to ensure safe operation. Drive responsibly and adhere to all traffic laws while on duty. Skills Excellent customer service abilities to effectively communicate with clients. Knowledge of conflict management techniques to handle challenging situations calmly. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various conditions. Strong attention to detail to ensure safety and compliance during operations.
