Truck Driver Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting ag products over short or long distances, ensuring safe and timely deliveries.

Duties:

• Operate and drive various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, step decks and walking floor trailers.
• Transport goods over local, and regional routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment as needed.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Maintain accurate driving logs and reports.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with a clean driving record (MUST) .
• Proven experience in route driving and handling different types of freight.
• Experience with heavy equipment operation.
• Familiarity with automotive repair is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Loading and strapping is a MUST.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in regional lane driving.
• Proficiency in operating flatbed/step decks/walking floor trailers.
• Experience in an Agricultural setting a plus.
