9/1/2026 POSITION PURPOSE An HBW Driver assists the Construction Division by timely delivery of materials to job sites, maintaining the warehouse and dispersing equipment to field staffPRINCIPAL DUTIES AND AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists in delivery and pick up of materials. Safely operates an Isuzu FTR dump/lift truck and other assigned company vehicles. Performs daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and completes the required vehicle maintenance checklist. Maintains the warehouse and its equipment, ensuring prompt delivery of equipment to field staff. Properly loads, distributes, covers and secures materials, tools, equipment and debris before transport. Removes trash/debris from sites where dumpsters are not permitted. Safely operates the dump body, lift equipment, and related truck controls. Manages changing daily schedule. Maintains appropriate license and safely operates company vehicle. Daily operation of dump truck with liftgate. Complies with applicable DOT requirements, traffic laws, company safety policies and project-specific rules.QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
At least five (5) years of experience driving and a clear driving record. Minimum (3) years of verifiable experience operating commercial trucks; five years of commercial driving experience is preferred. Valid DOT medical certificate when required by applicable regulations. High school diploma or GED. Decision-making and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage time effectively. To have a positive "can do" attitude and to embrace challenges. Ability to use an iPad, GPS, email and company applications to receive assignments and complete required documentation. E ffective verbal and written communication skills. Professional, dependable and service-oriented approach when working with HBW employees, customers, vendors and trade partners. Some experience with solving logistical issues. OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain it within the timeframe established by HBW. Ability to pass all company-required pre-employment screenings. Physical Qualifications Must be able to lift 50 Safely enter and exit the truck cab and access the truck bed or operating equipment throughout the workday. Must be able to work for 8-10 hours a day. Stand, walk, bend, reach, and work on active construction sites and in warehouse environments.
