Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across various routes, including OTR routes and local deliveries Transport freight using refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or specialized equipment for automobile transportation and hazardous materials (hazmat) when qualified Load and unload cargo efficiently while following proper manual handling procedures and logistics cargo handling protocols Navigate using GPS systems to ensure timely deliveries and optimal routing within FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations Comply with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and other safety standards during all phases of transportation Perform routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and documentation to ensure truck safety and compliance with DOT regulations Handle delivery driving responsibilities with professionalism, ensuring accurate delivery of freight while maintaining excellent customer service Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on route driving and delivery driving Knowledge of refrigerated trailer operation, flatbed, tanker, or specialized freight transport preferred Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning Ability to load & unload cargo safely using proper manual handling techniques Understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and dangerous goods handling Experience with truck loading and unloading procedures for freight including logistics cargo handling Strong driving skills with a clean safety record in commercial driving environments Join us as a CDL-A Truck Driver and take your career on the road to new heights!
