Job Description

Route 301 | Tobytown / Rockville Station (Rockville, MD) JSSA is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Weekend Bus Driver for our Ride-On contract serving the Rockville and Tobytown communities.
Position Details Schedule:
Saturday and Sunday Shift:
5:00 AM to 1
PM Hours:
8 hours per day, 16 hours per week.
Pay Rate:
$23.00 per hour•
Weekend Differential:
•Additional $5.00 per hour

Rockville, MD We're Looking for a Driver who is: Friendly, courteous, and professional Comfortable working in a diverse environment Committed to providing excellent customer service Safety-conscious and dependable Able to communicate effectively with passengers and coworkers Responsibilities Safely operate a passenger bus along designated routes and schedules. Assist passengers, including individuals with disabilities. Clearly announce stops and provide helpful customer service. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including accessibility equipment. Monitor vehicle condition and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns. Follow all required safety policies and procedures. Complete accident and incident reports in accordance with established guidelines. Maintain professionalism and composure while working in a fast-paced public transportation environment. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. Must possess a valid CDL-P (Commercial Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement). Current DOT Physical Basic computer skills. Ability to read and understand maps, schedules, and written instructions. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Strong customer service skills. Knowledge of defensive driving techniques. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for riders and coworkers.
