Job Description

We are hiring ASAP for a CDL Class A Driver who can work a hybrid route schedule & work long hours!! This means some local routes and some out-of-state, and overnight stays will be required, but hotel & meal stipends are provided!
Pay & Schedule:
$26/hr 60-70 hours per week/ 10-12 hour days
LOTS OF OVERTIME!
$$$$ Monday-Friday 7:30am-finish (3am start for farther routes)
Job Duties:
Drive 53ft reefer for out-of-town routes (Richmond, Pittsburg, Fayetteville North Carolina) Drive dry vans or reefers (20-26ft) for local grocery/restaurant deliveries Stay in hotel/overnight 2-3 times a week/for certain routes Load/unload with liftgate, pallet jack & dolly Perform pre/post-trip inspections Keep accurate delivery logs (Sleep in a hotel 1-2 times during the week and then almost always on Friday night. Saturday morning you'll wake up, bring the truck back to the warehouse, and then you don't work anymore on weekends.)
Requirements:
AT LEAST
1+ year of
RECENT CDL
delivery driving experience Experience with manual AND automatic transmissions Reefer experience highly preferred Must be willing to join the union Valid CDL Class A & DOT Medical Certificate MUST have knowledge & value the importance of DOT safety protocols & regulations Pass a pre-employment DOT drug test, background check, and MVR report Qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered for employment.
