Job Description
Job Summary The CDL Truck Driver (Vacuum/Roll-Off) safely operates heavy-duty trucks to transport mobile open-top and compactor containers to disposal sites, transfer stations, and customer locations. This role requires navigating high-traffic areas, industrial sites, and tight or overhead environments. Advanced backing skills and a strong commitment to safety are essential. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate vehicles in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal regulations. Safely transport, load, and unload containers at customer and disposal locations. Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and document results using standard DVIR forms. Immediately report unsafe conditions, mechanical issues, incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage to management. Communicate customer requests and service concerns to the manager. Identify and report containers requiring repair or replacement. Complete and submit customer tickets and end-of-day documentation. Follow assigned routes and schedules as directed by management or dispatch. Assist other drivers as needed to meet operational demands. Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Schedule Monday through Friday Weekends as needed Experience Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience (required) Experience operating vacuum trucks preferred License and Certifications Valid Driver's License (required) CDL Class B (required) Tanker Endorsement (preferred) Air Brake Endorsement (preferred) CDL Class A (preferred)
