Job Description

Tevis is seeking a Propane Delivery Driver to join our team. Local deliveries, home daily. $25-$30 per hour.
Requirements:
1-3 years Driving Experience Class B Commercial Driver's License Hazmat Endorsement Required Tanker Endorsement Basic mathematical skills and knowledge of computers (Ravens) High level of customer service focus Ability to work independently in all weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
Clean Driving Record Physical Requirements:
Repetitive lifting of approx. 40lbs. Lifting up to 60 lbs. and pushing or pulling up to 100 lbs. (occasionally) Bending, kneeling, twisting, crouching, walking, sitting for long periods
Responsibilities:
Deliver Propane to commercial and residential tanks Maintain DOT physical card, Hazmat and Class B (minimum) CDL license compliance Skills to perform a leak test on disruption of service deliveries Basic knowledge of how to purge lines of air and ability to light appliances Ability to follow safety regulations and be safety conscious Load/Unload bobtail truck Maintain accuracy in paperwork (load records, manifests, delivery tickets) Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and weekly lubrication and cleaning of truck Sustain open communication with dispatch to ensure delivery and inventory records are accurate Work overtime and some weekends during heating season Participate in 24-hour emergency on-call rotation Benefits for
