Job Description

TransForce Inc. seeks a reliable Non CDL Driver to support transportation and logistics operations. In this role, you will safely operate company vehicles under 26,000 lbs GVW to pick up and deliver freight, packages, or materials on scheduled routes. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, loading and unloading, securing cargo, following DOT and company safety policies, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation. You will interact professionally with customers, dispatchers, and teammates, representing our safety focused, service oriented culture while helping keep local and regional freight moving efficiently. Responsibilities Safely operate non CDL company vehicles for local and regional deliveries Perform pre trip and post trip vehicle inspections and report issues Load, unload, and properly secure freight, packages, or materials Follow all DOT, state, local, and company safety policies and procedures Plan routes and follow dispatch instructions to meet delivery schedules Maintain accurate logs, delivery documents, and basic paperwork Provide professional, courteous service to customers at pick up and delivery sites Communicate effectively with dispatch and supervisors regarding routes and delays Keep vehicle clean, organized, and in compliance with company standards Assist team members and support a collaborative, safety focused work environment Required Skills Non CDL commercial vehicle operation Defensive driving and road safety Pre trip and post trip inspections Cargo loading and securing Basic DOT and local transportation regulations Route planning and navigation (GPS/maps) Delivery documentation and recordkeeping Material handling (dollies, pallet jacks) Customer service and communication Time management and on time delivery
