Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission to transport vehicles. Load and unload vehicles ensuring secure placement for transit. Drive route-specific deliveries, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations to meet delivery deadlines. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage logs, and vehicle condition reports. Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or issues encountered during transit. Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record. Proven experience driving tractor-trailers, including manual transmission vehicles. Knowledge of freight handling, load & unload procedures, and route driving best practices. Ability to perform basic maintenance checks and identify mechanical issues before trips. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving and vehicle operation.
Pay:
$0.65 - $0.70 per mile
