Job Description

As a CDL Driver at PODS, you'll safely deliver, pick up, and position portable storage containers for residential and commercial customers. You'll operate a CDL truck and lift system, perform DOT-compliant inspections, and maneuver in tight spaces while protecting customer property. In this customer-first, safety-focused role, you'll provide friendly service, communicate with dispatch, and help solve on-site challenges. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL vehicle to deliver, pick up, and relocate PODS containers in residential and commercial settings Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and complete required DOT and company documentation Secure containers and loads, operate lift systems, and maneuver in tight spaces with a safety-first mindset Provide professional, customer-first service, resolving basic issues and escalating concerns as needed Follow assigned routes and schedules while adapting to traffic, weather, and site conditions Communicate with dispatch and team members to coordinate daily logistics and meet service standards Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle and equipment Required Skills CDL truck operation Defensive driving Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance Backing and maneuvering in tight spaces Use of liftgates and loading equipment
