About the Role Join our team as an NEMT Driver and become a vital part of providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation for clients with medical needs. You'll transport clients to appointments, therapy sessions, and other essential destinations — helping improve their mobility and independence along the way. This is an on-call position — ideal for someone looking for flexible, supplemental income. As our trip volume grows, there's real potential for this role to expand into part-time or full-time work with a company that's building something long-term. What You'll Do Safely operate passenger vehicles, including wheelchair-accessible vans, to transport clients to scheduled appointments while following all traffic laws and transportation regulations Assist clients with boarding, disembarking, and securing mobility aids or belongings — with patience and compassion Arrive on time, every time — our clients depend on it Plan efficient local routes using GPS navigation Conduct routine vehicle checks to keep the vehicle clean, safe, and well-maintained Communicate clearly with clients and dispatch regarding pick-up times, routes, and any changes Maintain accurate trip logs (mileage, timing, client interactions) for reporting What We're Looking For Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy Comfortable working with elderly and mobility-impaired clients Prior NEMT, shuttle, or passenger transport experience a plus, but not required Available for on-call/flexible scheduling (weekday availability a plus) A genuine, people-first attitude — this isn't just a driving job Why Servant's Heart Family-owned, mission-driven company Growing business with room to grow with us Flexible on-call schedule that fits around your life
