JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. We are looking for a career-minded individual who is driven, organized, and enjoys building relationships while also helping to solve problems. Local deliveries to various customers throughout the western Upper Peninsula area. The delivery area is divided into zones, with specific delivery days designated for each zone. You are home daily. Previous experience with hauling chained, strapped, and tarped loads and a minimum of 2 years driving experience is preferred. Occasionally an additional, or alternate, day may be required due to weather, mechanical issues, holidays, etc. We guarantee to pay 32 hours a week. Overtime for any time, over 8 hours per day. Benefits available after 90 days.

Starting wage: $26-$28/hour, negotiable with experience

ESOP RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Driving a semi-tractor with a flat-bed trailer loaded with stock structural steel Delivering specific items to multiple customers Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and site safety procedures Follow best practices for handling heavy steel to prevent injury or damage Confirm delivery details, answer questions, and handle any delivery concerns or complaint Record mileage and complete delivery logs and complete all paperwork

REQUIREMENTS

Valid driver's license and clean driving record Experience with heavy materials and construction site logistics Strong navigational skills and ability to read delivery maps Physical stamina to lift and move heavy steel items Attention to detail and ability to follow strict schedules
