Job Description
Transit Driver Hours:
8:00 am - 4:30 pm Must be able to pass a background check, including drug screen. Hart Medical Equipment offers a competitive salary and benefits package.EOE SUMMARY
Delivers inventory and interoffice mail to local branches and warehouses by driving at least a 24 foot box truck.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Delivers stock transfers and interoffice mail to local branches and warehouses.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must login daily to routing application.
- Transfers products in accordance with company policy.
- Wears Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Maintain an active chauffer's license at all times.
- Completes warehouse and delivery driver duties as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be professional, proactive and positive with internal and external customers and coworkers. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED). At least 3 months of related experience. Skills & Abilities- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain professional in stressful situations.
- Must be able to pass a background check and DOT physical.
- Have and maintain a valid Chauffer's license.
- Working knowledge and comfort with smart phones.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have a chauffeur's license and a good driving record.PHYSICAL DEMANDS

- Required to sit for periods of time in vehicle.
- Regularly stand and lift objects from 1" to 36" high with weights ranging from 10 lbs. - 100 lbs., occasionally up to 170 lbs. Objects will be carried from 1 to 350 ft. This includes possible travel up and down stairs, ramps or elevators.
- Frequently required to push or pull objects weighing from 20 lbs. - 100 lbs. through various surfaces using dollies or carts.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- All employees are required to work in a safe manner
- Wear PPE as required.
