This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a range of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers. The ideal candidate will be committed to adhering to all safety regulations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. Duties Safely operate commercial trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers across over-the-road (OTR) routes and local deliveries Plan routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery schedules and efficiency Load and unload freight with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo integrity and safety compliance Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and hazardous materials regulations when transporting dangerous goods or hazardous materials Secure cargo properly during transit to prevent shifting or damage during transportation Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and vehicle inspections in accordance with regulatory requirements Perform routine vehicle inspections and coordinate maintenance needs to ensure optimal operation of trucks Qualifications Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving with a focus on freight transportation Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements for hazardous materials (Hazmat), tanker, or other specialized loads preferred Familiarity with refrigerated trailer operation, flatbed handling, and automobile transportation is a plus Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, hazard materials regulations, and safety protocols for truck loading/unloading and manual handling Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and efficiently Excellent navigation skills using GPS systems for route planning and execution Demonstrated commitment to safety practices and adherence to all federal and state transportation laws Join us as a Driver and become part of a dedicated team that values safety, efficiency, and exceptional service.
