Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled OTR/Regional Truck Driver to join our team. With the opportunity to be home every weekend/work extended periods if desired. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of trucks, including flatbed, Conestoga. Duties Operate commercial vehicles, including flatbed and tanker trucks, to transport goods to various locations. Drive manual transmission trucks and ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload freight securely, ensuring that all cargo is properly secured for transport. Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure safety and functionality. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays. Adhere to company policies regarding safety protocols and operational procedures. Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Familiarity with route driving and freight handling is preferred. Experience operating forklifts is a plus. Strong understanding of manual transmission driving techniques. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while on the road.
