This position works directly with members in a supportive socialization setting while also assisting with transportation services. Job Duties & Responsibilities Provide peer support, encouragement, and positive interaction with members. Help create a welcoming, respectful, and supportive environment for all members. Assist with and facilitate groups, activities, games, outings, and other member programming. Encourage member participation, independence, socialization, and development of daily living skills. Provide appropriate support to members experiencing frustration, conflict, or other challenges while utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary. Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and member confidentiality. Assist with general daily operations and other duties as assigned. Safely transport members to and from the center and other approved locations using company vehicles. Follow assigned transportation routes and schedules while maintaining safe and responsible driving practices. Assist members entering and exiting vehicles when needed. Complete required transportation documentation and immediately report any vehicle concerns, accidents, or incidents. Follow all organizational policies, safety procedures, and applicable recipient-rights requirements.
