Overview Join our team as a Vacuum Truck Operator and become a vital part of our construction and utility services! In this role, you will operate specialized vacuum trucks to perform excavation, utility locating, and waste removal tasks across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations that keep projects moving forward. Duties Safely operate vacuum trucks for excavation, slurry removal, and utility work in compliance with federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures Locate underground utilities using utility locating tools to prevent damage during excavation activities Perform construction utility work including trenching, backfilling, and site preparation while adhering to safety regulations and project specifications Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, construction grading, and site safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment Experience Proven experience operating commercial trucks and heavy construction machinery Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic maintenance on vacuum trucks and related equipment Familiarity with construction site operations including excavation, utility installation, and grading processes Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures Construction or utility work experience in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable Ability to locate underground utilities accurately using specialized tools is a plus Valid commercial driver's license with experience in commercial truck driving preferred Join us in delivering essential services through skilled operation of heavy machinery while prioritizing safety at every step.
