Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving, with experience in various types of trucks and trailers including flatbeds, lowboy, and more. This role involves transporting pipe, sucker rods and oil and gas equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Experience in the oil field is not required, but preferred. Experience will determine starting pay. Responsibilities Operate and drive various types of trucks including haul trucks, winch trucks, and boom trucks (training available). Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Navigate routes effectively to deliver goods on time while maintaining compliance with all regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, hours, and any incidents that occur during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Utilize manual transmissions. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on oil field experience. Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other truck types is preferred. Ability to perform manual transmission driving when necessary. Knowledge of freight handling procedures including load & unload techniques. Strong understanding of route driving and navigation skills. Comply with safety regulations.
