Company Description:

We operate Monday through Friday, with occasional opportunities to stay out for up to two weeks at a time. While our primary routes are in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, and Tennessee, we also operate outside of this region as needed. Due to changing traffic, weather, and road conditions, we expect our drivers to make reasonable efforts to adapt, exercise caution at all times, and drive defensively. Essential Functions:

Perform and document pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any equipment defects. Safely transport freight to destinations, following any special requirements, adjusting routes as needed, and maintaining regular communication with dispatch. Maintain accurate transportation records, including ELD logs, bills of lading, scale tickets, fuel receipts, and other load-related paperwork. Follow all operating instructions, local/state/federal regulations, and company procedures while ensuring equipment is properly maintained and stocked with necessary supplies

Job Requirements:

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' recent driving experience with a Class A CDL. Candidates must be able to pass a D.O.T. medical examination and drug screening. Candidates must be able to be dispatched out of Alma, Michigan. Candidates must be able to stay out overnight on the road.
