Lake Ridge Care Center, a Cassia community, is hiring a Resident Transportation Driver to join our team in Buffalo, MN! As a Resident Transportation Driver , you will safely operate a passenger bus to transport residents to scheduled events, appointments, outings, and activities. The bus is equipped to accommodate up to 12 residents with 2 wheelchairs, or up to 8 residents with 4 wheelchairs , depending on the transportation needs of the group. The ideal candidate is safe, with a positive attitude and experience supporting seniors, ready to manage scheduled trips and maintain the bus to standards.

Position Type:

On-Call, working minimum 3-4 shifts a month

Wage Range:

$19 - $20.78 /hour depending on experience

Resident Transportation Driver Responsibilities:

Drive the bus for scheduled resident and employee outings. Complete proper documentation for MnDOT including daily logs and quarterly reports. Track and schedule maintenance for the bus. Complete daily upkeep for the bus including filling up gas, washer fluid, cleaning the bus, etc. Complete additional tasks as requested.

Resident Transportation Driver Qualifications:

Good driving record: no moving violations for the last two years. Must pass the MnDOT physical examination and a criminal background check. Capable of operating bus lift and strapping wheelchairs into the bus. Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills. Prior experience working with people with memory loss and physical disabilities is desired. Friendly, outgoing and positive personality.
