Safety-Kleen, a Clean Harbors company, is seeking a Vacuum Sales & Service Driver (CDL) to support utilities and energy customers with safe, compliant environmental services. In this field role, you will operate a CDL truck to collect used oil and related waste via vacuum systems, perform basic service at industrial and commercial sites, and complete required manifests and DOT logs. You'll follow strict safety and environmental standards, deliver dependable customer service, and help identify additional service needs, contributing directly to sustainable recycling and waste management solutions. Responsibilities Operate CDL vehicle to deliver, pick up, and transport used oil, vacuum waste, and related materials from customer sites Perform basic vacuum equipment setup, hose connections, and service tasks safely and efficiently Follow DOT, EPA, and company regulations for hazardous and non-hazardous materials handling Complete daily pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs, manifests, and service documentation Provide responsive customer service, resolving basic service issues and communicating customer needs Coordinate routes and schedules with dispatch to maximize service efficiency and on-time performance Use company systems or mobile tools to capture service data and ensure proper chain-of-custody records Report safety hazards, spills, or equipment issues immediately and participate in safety meetings Support shop housekeeping, equipment cleaning, and basic maintenance of hoses, pumps, and tanks Collaborate with sales and operations teams to identify additional service opportunities at customer locations Required Skills CDL truck driving (Class B or A) Vacuum truck or tanker operation DOT regulations and hours-of-service compliance Hazardous/non-hazardous waste handling procedures Bill of lading and manifest documentation Pre/post-trip vehicle inspections Basic mechanical aptitude for hoses, pumps, and valves Route planning and time management Customer service in industrial/commercial settings Use of mobile or onboard logging/dispatch systems
