Job Overview We are seeking a professional and reliable Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of commercial trucks to transport freight and goods efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, route management, and timely delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with transportation regulations. The position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, supporting the logistics operations of our company. Duties Operate a variety of commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tanker trucks, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Safely drive on designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Manage route driving schedules to ensure timely deliveries and pickups. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any maintenance or safety issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other required documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during transit. Follow all safety protocols related to driving, cargo handling, and vehicle maintenance. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for different vehicle types (e.g., tanker, flatbed). Experience in truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles preferred. Prior experience operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tanker trucks, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is a plus. Ability to load & unload freight efficiently and safely. Experience with forklift operation is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong knowledge of transportation safety regulations and compliance standards. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as lifting cargo or equipment when necessary. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
