Drive Your Career Forward with Upper Lakes Foods Join Upper Lakes Foods as a Full-Time Straight Truck Driver and become an essential part of delivering quality food products throughout the Upper Midwest. In this role, you'll do more than drive. You'll provide outstanding customer service, ensure accurate deliveries, and help keep restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, and other foodservice operators supplied with the products they need every day. No CDL needed, just a regular Driver's License! About Upper Lakes Foods Upper Lakes Foods is the largest independent wholesale food distributor in Minnesota, serving customers throughout the Upper Midwest from facilities in Cloquet, MN, Northfield, MN, and Janesville, WI. We proudly supply independent restaurants, schools, assisted living facilities, and regional and national foodservice operators.

What You'll Do As a Straight Truck Driver, you'll safely operate a company straight truck while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries along established routes.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and safety checks in accordance with DOT regulations. Verifying route information, invoices, and loaded products before departure. Delivering and unloading food products at customer locations using hand trucks and dollies. Verifying deliveries, obtaining customer signatures, and collecting payments when required. Communicating with management regarding delivery discrepancies, returns, or customer concerns. Maintaining accurate DOT logs, vehicle reports, and delivery documentation. Working closely with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure efficient operations. Providing exceptional customer service and representing Upper Lakes Foods in a professional manner at every stop. What We're Looking For Successful candidates will bring a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and a customer-first mindset.
Ideal qualifications include:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent. Previous delivery, driving, or customer service experience preferred, but training is available for the right candidate. Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to build positive relationships with customers and coworkers. Dependability and consistent attendance. Physical Requirements This is an active position that requires frequent lifting, unloading, and product handling.
Candidates must be able to:
Frequently lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds. Occasionally lift and move products over 60 pounds. Use a two-wheel cart or hand truck to transport loads weighing up to 350 pounds. Work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
