Job Description

Mayo Clinic Patient Shuttle Driver Summary We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Shuttle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting patients safely and efficiently on a dedicated route in the city of Rochester. Key Responsibilities Shuttles run 5 days a week 7 hour shifts between the hours of 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Ensure the safety of all passengers by adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, as well as answering any questions they may have. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shuttle vehicle. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules and passenger needs. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Assist in managing passenger flow during peak times to ensure timely departures. Qualifications CDL Previous experience in shuttle driving, van driving, or bus driving is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. Experience operating motor coaches or similar vehicles is advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
