Job Description

Class A CDL Truck Driver Minimum Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older. Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). HazMat endorsement required. Tanker endorsement required. High school diploma or GED preferred. Clean driving record with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Must pass a DOT physical and maintain a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate. Must pass pre-employment and random DOT drug and alcohol screenings. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly. Ability to work 10-12-hour shifts as needed. Some routes require overnight stays (1-2 nights per week). Willing to travel throughout an 8-state service area. Essential Job Duties Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle in compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies. Load, unload, and secure cargo as required. Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections. Complete driver logs, manifests, and electronic records accurately and on time. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service at customer locations. Report vehicle maintenance needs, mechanical issues, and safety concerns promptly. Deliver products safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Physical Requirements Frequently climb in and out of the truck cab and trailer. Ability to bend, stoop, twist, kneel, and climb as needed. Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a commercial vehicle. Preferred Qualifications One to three years of Class A CDL driving experience. Previous tanker and/or hazardous materials hauling experience. Experience using Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs). Demonstrated commitment to safe driving and regulatory compliance. Strong communication and customer service skills. Work Schedule & Benefits Full-time position. Typical workdays are 10-12 hours.
